Chinese Astrology

Chinese astrology is an ancient form of astrological study traced back to the dynasty of Emperor Huang Ti during 2637 B.C. In its original form of evolvement, it was fabricated as a combination of divine character reading and philosophical wisdom. Similar to Western astrology, Chinese astrology reveals an individual's unique characteristics, lifestyle, and emotional balance. The origin of this ancient art is based on the deep-rooted understanding of classical philosophy of Confucius, Lao-tse and the YiJing (I Ching). As stated in Chinese prodigy, the sequence of 12 signs as illustrated in Chinese astrological system was established by Buddha. The Buddha welcomed all the cluster of animals in the monarchy collectively for an assembly; however, only 12 of the entities actually participated. The first animal reached on that assembly was the chatty rat followed by ox, tiger and cat, and so on. As soon as all the animals arrived in the assembly, Buddha assigned each of the animals a unique year of their own.
Here, we will now explore in brief details all the Chinese signs in sequence in association with their corresponding year.

Rat (1900, 1912, 1924, 1936, 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, 2008, 2020, and so on)

Individuals born in the Rat year are found to be active and obstinate, bighearted, attractive, good listeners when one is needed. However, Rats exhibit controlling power and they possess a strong craving for power and authority, so people encircling them should be aware of this fact.

Buffalo or Ox (1901, 1913, 1925, 1937, 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997, 2009, 2021, and so on)

Individuals born in the Buffalo year are found to be diligent, systematic, enduring, stubborn, rigid, jealous, and cruel. Although they tend to govern others with their leadership qualities, they may become loner and spend time in solitude.
